King Charles Cancels COP29 Visit After Reportedly Pausing Cancer Treatment
King Charles will no longer attend the COP29 conference in Azerbaijan next month amid reports that he reportedly paused his cancer treatment
According to royal expert Rebecca English via the Daily Mail, Charles’ doctors were r eportedly “happy” to briefly pause treatment for the duration of his visit to Australia and Samoa. Buckingham Palace announced in February 2024 that King Charles III received a cancer diagnosis one week after he was admitted to The London Clinic to undergo treatment for an enlarged prostate. “His Majesty’s medical team are very encouraged by the progress made so far and remain positive about the King’s continued recovery,” Buckingham Palace said in a statement at the time.
