King Charles and Queen Camilla release 2024 Christmas card with hidden detail
Buckingham Palace has released this year's Christmas card for King Charles and Queen Camilla, marking their third official Christmas card since Charles became monarch
To mark the festivities, the pair have chosen a photograph of themselves which was taken in the garden of Buckingham Palace back in April - and it’s a lot different from last year’s image. Christmas cards are a notable tradition among royals (Image: PA)After the monarch revealed that he had been diagnosed with an undisclosed form of cancer at the beginning of the year, in April it was announced that he would be making a return to public engagements. “As the first anniversary of the Coronation approaches, Their Majesties remain deeply grateful for the many kindnesses and good wishes they have received from around the world throughout the joys and challenges of the past year,” a statement from Buckingham Palace read.
