As the King appointed Prince William the new Colonel-in-Chief of the Army Air Corps, a role that he himself filled for more than three decades, former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond exclusively tells OK! While it is a royal tradition for the Prince of Wales to hold the Colonel-in-Chief title, Harry was trained to fly Apache helicopters with the corps and was presented with his provisional wings by his father before serving in Afghanistan.
