King Charles and Princess Kate Middleton received nearly 30,000 messages from well wishers after respective cancer diagnoses
Weeks after the King’s cancer diagnosis went public, the Royal Family’s official social media accounts shared a video of Charles reading well wishes from supporters. “The King has had a chance to read a wide selection of the thousands of Get Well cards and letters that have been sent to Buckingham Palace since his diagnosis,” the royal family wrote on X. Buckingham Palace announced in February 2024 that King Charles III received a cancer diagnosis one week after he was admitted to The London Clinic to undergo treatment for an enlarged prostate.
