Kimora Lee Simmons received the Goodwill Ambassador Award from her daughter Aoki and Ming Lee at the Smile Train Gala on Wednesday, May 8. The entrepreneur is mom to daughters Aoki and Ming Lee, and sons Kenzo, Wolfe and Gary.

On Wednesday, May 8, the entrepreneur, 49, was honored with the Goodwill Ambassador Award at the Smile Train Gala in New York City. We are very, very close, we do everything together, whether it's red carpet, whether it's fundraising, charity, family holidays, so to have them here and also supporting is just a really big deal," Simmons tells PEOPLE of her kids at the event. Wearing a sleeveless black gown, Simmons stood on the side next to daughter Ming Lee.
