Kim Kardashian is 'proud' of former inmate and singer David Jassy as she congratulates his success amid criminal justice reform push
Kim Kardashian dropped in on Instagram on Saturday to give a nod to former incarcerated singer David Jassy.
The Hulu star successfully campaigned for the release of Alice Marie Johnson, who was sentenced to life in prison for a first-time, nonviolent offense. More recently, Kim visited Vice President Kamala Harris at the White House in April to discuss criminal pardons. It was her first trip to Capitol Hill during the Biden administration, after she initially worked with former President Donald Trump on criminal justice reform.
