Kim Gordon Drops New Video for ‘ECRP,’ Directed by Daughter Coco Gordon Moore
Kim Gordon has released the video for new song 'ECRP,' which was directed by her daughter Coco Gordon Moore.
Like the songs on The Collective, Justin Raisen also produced “ECRP,” which dovetails with the avant-garde, hip-hop, and industrial mélange found on the album despite it not appearing on the LP. New York City buildings, textured artwork, barbed wire, and more serve as the complementary backdrop to the industrial, woozy, and beat-buoyed music alongside Gordon’s visceral lyrics. “The songs come off as avant-garde, trap, old-school hip-hop, noisy, or musique concrète depending on where you drop the needle,” Rolling Stone said in the review of her sophomore set.
