Godwin joined the network in 2021
Although the network still tops in the ratings with Good Morning America and World News Tonight, Godwin has presided over some tumult. Almost three years ago, I was offered the incredible opportunity to take on the leadership of ABC News and it’s been nothing short of monumental, working alongside all of you. And I am also proud that we have recruited and appointed an unprecedented number of people of color to continue to diversify our newsroom, bureaus, shows and executives.
