Kieran Turner dead at 56: Documentary filmmaker behind Jobriath A.D. and Wallflowers passes from cancer
Kieran Turner has died at the age of 56. The documentary filmmaker behind Jobriath A.D. (2012) and the web series Wallflowers passed away from cancer , as per Deadline .
His friend, John Matthews, who had a role in Wallflowers, shared a touching tribute to Turner on Facebook, including a number of snaps featuring the filmmaker. The Eight Track Tape Productions founder passed away on Monday, December 23 in West Hollywood, according to president of CLG3 Communications Christy Grosz; he is seen in a throwback snap with Cyndi Lauper During his time at Cinemarket, Turner contributed to the financing and marketing of films such as 'Terminator Salvation,' 'Love & Mercy,' 'Very Good Girls,' 'From the Rough,' and 'Dylan Dog: Dead of Night.'
