Kieran Culkin Tells Wife ‘I Want More’ Kids in Emotional Emmys Victory Speech

Kieran Culkin won for outstanding lead actor in a drama series as the 75th Emmys, hosted by Anthony Anderson, took place Monday night on Fox.

The win was Culkin’s first Emmy for playing the younger Roman Roy on the hit HBO series, which ended its run last May after four seasons. Culkin won a category in which he faced off with “Succession” co-stars Jeremy Strong and Brian Cox, as well as Jeff Bridges (“The Old Man”), Bob Odenkirk (“Better Call Saul”) and Pedro Pascal (“The Last of Us”). The ceremony, taking place on Jan. 15 — Martin Luther King Jr. Day — was originally scheduled for September 18 until the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes led to the postponement.
