Kiefer Sutherland: New Doc on Norman’s Rare Guitars ‘Captures the Romance of the Guitar’
The legendary L.A. guitar shop, Norman's Rare Guitars, is getting its own documentary, premiering on Netflix on Dec. 31.
The film digs into the history and legacy of the store, as well as its founder and owner, Norman Harris, renowned not only for his collection of vintage instruments but also for his ability to pair the right guitar with the right player. Time has flown by — it feels like just a blink of an eye… I hope [the movie] resonates with the public as more than just a story about guitars — but as a celebration of community, passion, and the spirit of a small business.” Other musicians who’ll feature in the movie include Joe Bonamassa, John Oates, Lenny Kravitz, Slash, Machine Gun Kelly, and late Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins.
