Kevin Spacey Wins Folkestone Independent Film Award for ‘Control’ Voice Acting Role
Kevin Spacey has won an award for his turn in micro-budget thriller 'Control.'
Last month a number of Hollywood heavy hitters, including Sharon Stone and Liam Neeson, also gave statements to The Telegraph newspaper calling for the actor’s return to the industry. After Rapp’s allegations, Spacey was swiftly dropped from a number of high-profile film and TV projects and has since found little work, instead fighting a litany of legal battles, on both sides of the Atlantic, in the civil and criminal courts. His first film after his acquittal was micro-budget thriller “Control,” in which Spacey plays a menacing figure who manages to hijack a government official’s car in order to exact revenge.
