This time, Spacey employed John Doe, the sociopathic serial killer from David Fincher’s “Se7en,” as he rounded off his thank you speech on the stage of the Teatro Galli: “As I say to Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman when asked, ‘Where are we headed?’ I simply respond with, ‘You’ll see.’” Having paid respect to the ghost of Rimini’s most famous son Federico Fellini, the two-time Oscar winner rounded off his speech with defiant optimism: “The best is yet to come.”
