Kevin Smith’s Re-Released ‘Dogma’ Acquired By Goodfellas For International Sales – Cannes Marke
EXCLUSIVE: Goodfellas is getting behind Kevin Smith ’s mission to theatrically re-release his controversial 1999 religious satire Dogma, starring Ben Affleck and Matt Damon as fallen angels, after a tumultuous launch first time round. The Cannes splash follows Smith’s announcement last October that he had gotten the rights back to the movie which had been out of his hands since the initial release. Affleck and Damon star in Dogma as Bartleby and Loki, two fallen angels who make their way to New Jersey for a loophole that will get them back to heaven.
