Kevin Costner To Star, Co-Write 'Headhunters' Post 'Horizon'
He gathers a group of surfers led by a local photographer to find the perfect wave at an uncharted island — which winds up being the domicile to an ancient tribe of headhunters who are protecting their land at all costs. The pic is also produced by Costner’s partner at Territory Pictures Howard Kaplan, and Stone Village’s Dylan Russell, Lindsay Davis and Stacey Woods. Costner’s passion project Horizon: An American Saga – Part 1 made its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival and went on to gross $38.2M at the global box office.
