One of the biggest royal scandals in recent memory came when King Charles III and the late Princess Diana announced their separation in 1992 after 10 years of marriage. “I loved her — it’s not like this giant mystery — so I knew that she should be the one,” he said of casting Houston in the lead role during the June 3 episode of the “Armchair Expert” podcast.
