Kevin Costner Pays Tribute to 'Yellowstone' Co-Star Dabney Coleman

Coleman's final onscreen role was playing the father of Costner's character on the celebrated drama series.

The actor shared screenshots of "one of the most heartwrenching scenes I've been a part of," referencing the season 2 episode of Yellowstone in which his character flashed back to his father's final days. "My father crafted his time here on earth with a curious mind, a generous heart, and a soul on fire with passion, desire and humor that tickled the funny bone of humanity," she continued. Coleman's agent, Jeffrey Goldberg, also wrote, "I will only add that it has been a great privilege to have represented Dabney and to have been able to call him my friend.
