Kevin Bacon is going to attend the prom at Utah 's Payson High School - 40 years after he filmed Footloose there in 1984.
'I’ve been amazed at the work that all of you have been putting into this, with the musical and the flash mobs and the re-creations,' said the actor who shared memories of another film, Hollow Man, recently on social media. In a satellite call with the high schoolers, the leading man told the gathered assembly, 'It hasn’t gone unnoticed by me, not to mention the fact that you tied in SixDegrees.org, our foundation, and are trying to figure out ways to give back to your community. Because of the Payson student body's efforts, the charity will 'be building a minimum of 5,000 resource kits for 4 incredible organizations serving youth and families in crisis across Utah, Nevada and Colorado,' the wrote.
