Kevin Bacon Reveals He Hasn't Returned to the Oscars Since Height of 'Footloose' Fame in 1984 (Exclusive)

Kevin Bacon told ET the last time he attended the Academy Awards was four decades ago.

On Thursday, ET's Nischelle Turner caught up with the legendary actor, 65, at the Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F premiere in Los Angeles, where he shared that he hasn't gotten the chance to return to Hollywood's biggest night since the height of his Footloose days. Back in December, Bacon spoke with ET at the premiere of another film he starred in for Netflix, Leave the World Behind, where he discussed the long-lasting legacy of Footloose ahead of its 40th anniversary. The film picks up with Murphy's Axel Foley and his estranged daughter, Jane (Paige), a criminal defense attorney who pulls her Detroit-based dad into a California case.
