Kesha Says She’s Permanently Changing Diddy Lyric in ‘Tik Tok’: ‘I Know What I Stand For’

Kesha said that her "F--k P. Diddy" lyric change in "Tik Tok" will be permanent from now on. Get the details.

After altering the song during Reneé Rapp’s festival set in April to include the line “f— P. Diddy” — in light of accusations of sexual misconduct against the rapper and mogul — Kesha revealed Thursday that she’s only planning to sing the updated version of her 2009 smash going forward. When Kesha joined Rapp on the Coachella stage for a surprise duet of “Tik Tok” last month, it had been just a couple of weeks since Diddy’s L.A. and Miami homes were raided by FBI agents in connection with an ongoing federal sex trafficking investigation, as reported at the time by CNN. The musician is currently gearing up to headline WeHo Pride in Los Angeles, which will also feature Adam Lambert, Monét X Change, Laganja Estranja, Morphine Love Dion, Niña Dioz, Jessica Betts, Owenn and Venessa Michaels on the lineup.
