Kesha Claims Prop Knife Used During Her Lollapalooza 2024 Set Was Swapped Out for a 'Real Butcher Knife'

Kesha posted to X (formerly Twitter) in the wake of her performance at Lollapalooza 2024 to say that the butcher knife she brandished during her performance was allegedly an actual knife and not a prop as originally intended.

Alongside "TiK ToK" and "Backstabber," Kesha took fans on a journey through her hits during her Lollapalooza set, performing "Die Young," "Cannibal," "Take It Off" and other standout tracks from her discography. Most notably, the star played guitar live during her performance of "Your Love Is My Drug," and utilized the viral footage of Vice President Kamala Harris saying " You think you just fell out of a coconut tree? Lollapalooza is scheduled to run in Chicago's Grant Park from Thursday, Aug. 1, until Sunday, Aug. 4, with the likes of SZA, Reneé Rapp, The Killers, Blink-182 and Melanie Martinez also set to take the stage across the festival's remaining days.
