Kesha Celebrates 15th Anniversary of Debut Album 'Animal': 'Had No Idea What These Songs Would Open Up for Me'

On Sunday, Jan. 5, Kesha celebrated the 15th anniversary of her debut album 'Animal' in an Instagram tribute.

Alongside the caption, the "Praying" hitmaker shared a throwback video where she was asked what she thought about the joy Animal brought her fans. "The only reason I made this record is to make kids have fun and have dance parties and inspire people to just be happy," she said in the clip, which features a montage of memories from that era. Meanwhile, on Thursday, Jan. 2, Kesha celebrated the fact that her debut single, "Tik Tok," had its best-ever day of streaming on Spotify.
