Kesha announces new holiday song amid surprise Spring Breakers collab with Charli XCX

On Tuesday, Spotify announced the singer, 37, will be releasing her own rendition of Lindsey Buckingham's Holiday Road as part of their annual singles collection.

After the legal dispute was resolved the singer shared the news in an Instagram post revealing the parties agreed to issue a joint statement regarding the resolution. The long legal battle began in October 2014, when Kesha sued Dr. Luke for sexual assault and battery and claims his abusive behavior led to her developing an eating disorder. Perry denied that Dr. Luke raped her in a deposition and a New York state judge ruled against Kesha in 2020 saying she had defamed her former producer and an appeals court upheld that decision in 2021.
