In a conversation with Bustle ahead of the release of UnPrisoned season two on July 17, she also opened up about the ways that felons may be seen differently now that the former president has been convicted of 34 counts of falsifying business records. Elsewhere in the conversation, theactress shared how she felt attending white institutions, like The Spence School in New York City and George Washington University, gave her the opportunity to enter elite spaces in her adult career. “Suddenly, I fit into the picture, as if, by just telling them that I went to Spence, we are all acknowledging that I understand their ground rules, that I’m not going to do something to make them uncomfortable because I’ve been trained well.
