Keri Russell and Matthew Rhys hit the red carpet before starring in a dramatic reading of Dear Mr. Thomas: A New Play for Voices in New York City

Keri Russell and husband Matthew Rhys were all smiles for the cameras before they starred in a very unique play on Tuesday.

Russell hit the red carpet in a sleeveless billowing white top with her dark hair pulled back and accessorizing with black-framed glasses. Christopher Monger (left with Betsy Zajko) wrote the one-act play which will be staged in this one-night-only event, which also falls on International Dylan Thomas Day. Russell will be portraying Liz Reitell, the assistant to John Malcolm Brinnin, with the play also featuring Kate Burton, Lorna Bennett, Gopal Divan, Betsy Zajko and Taylor Trensch.
