Kenny Chesney Announces Residency at Las Vegas’ Sphere: ‘A Whole New Way of Rocking the Fans’
Kenny Chesney will become the first country artist to headline Las Vegas' innovative new venue the Sphere with a residency in May and June.
This spring, Kenny Chesney will become the first country artist to headline the Las Vegas Sphere with a residency that launches on May 22, it was announced on Thursday. “I’m always looking for ways to deepen the way No Shoes Nation experiences this music,” Chesney says of his decision to make 2025’s tour a trip to the innovative, 17,600-capacity new venue, which has featured residencies from U2, the Eagles, Phish, Dead & Co and electronic artist Anyma. Chesney, who regularly sells out stadiums on his tours, agreed to the residency more than a year ago without even having seen a show at the venue.
