Kendrick Lamar’s Surprise LP ‘GNX’ Tops U.K.’s Albums Chart

Kendrick Lamar's 'GNX' has seen the Compton rapper land his second No.1 album on the U.K. Albums Chart. Get the full run down.

Lamar achieved the feat through digital-only downloads and streaming numbers, with physical releases due in early 2025. GNX arrived last Friday (Nov. 22) with no notice, but comes in a banner year for the rapper following the success of “Not Like Us,” the final blow in his vicious feud with Drake. Earlier in the week Kiwanuka held a large lead over Lamar given his success on physical, with 87% of his final total coming across vinyl, CD and cassette.
