In fact, the 13-minute showcase between halves of the Philadelphia Eagles vs. Kansas City Chiefs game kept fans — both in the stadium and at home watching on TV — riled up from start to finish, with the Compton rapper performing back-to-back hits from his latest Billboard 200-topping album, GNX, as well as other chart-toppers from years past, including 2017’s “Humble” and “DNA.” 1 single and 2024 culture-defining diss track “Not Like Us.” Moments after smiling directly into the camera to tease, “Say, Drake, I hear you like ’em young,” Lamar was joined by an ear-splitting crowd of tens of thousands of football fans in yelling, “Tryna strike a chord and it’s probably A minor!” Aside from Lamar and his A-list collaborators, dozens of red-white-and-blue-clad dancers, as well as a crew of behind-the-scenes workers who put together the hip-hop titan’s layered, 360-degree staging, also nailed their execution of 2025’s unforgettable halftime extravaganza.
