Kendrick Lamar Releases Surprise Song on Instagram
The Compton rapper dropped the untitled track just a few days after announcing his Super Bowl LIX halftime show.
The song arrives just days after news broke that Lamar will headline the Super Bowl LIX halftime show, set to take place in New Orleans in February 2025.“Rap music is still the most impactful genre to date. JAY-Z, whose Roc Nation co-produces the halftime show, added, “Kendrick Lamar is truly a once-in-a-generation artist and performer. The new track marks the Compton rapper's first release since his hit single “Not Like Us,” the most successful song amidst his ongoing feud with Drake earlier this year.
