Kendrick Lamar leads the 2025 American Music Awards nominations. Post Malone is next in line, followed by Billie EIlish, Chappell Roan and Shaboozey.
This will be the first regular American Music Awards broadcast in two and a half years, since the show in November 2022 that was hosted by comedian Wayne Brady. The plan is for the show to air each Memorial Day, paying tribute to U.S. troops and veterans in addition to honoring the year’s hottest music stars. Nominees are based on key fan interactions – as reflected on the Billboard charts – including streaming, album and song sales, radio airplay and tour grosses.
