Kendrick Lamar Halftime Show Performer Arrested Months After Holding Up ‘Gaza-Sudan’ Flag at Super Bowl

An extra of the Kendrick Lamar Halftime show has been arrested for holding up a 'Gaza-Sudan' flag without permission during the performance.

Louisiana State Police have confirmed the arrest of Zul-Qarnain Kwame Nantambu, an extra who performed alongside Kendrick Lamar during the Super Bowl Halftime Show. Nantambu held up the flags of Sudan and Palestine during the show and resisted officials who tried to stop him, therefore exhibiting signs of “disturbing the peace by interruption of a lawful assembly.” Louisiana State Police add, “Security and law enforcement personnel on site quickly recognized the unauthorized action and apprehended the performer after he refused to comply with their commands to stop.”
