Kendrick Lamar Drops Surprise Album ‘GNX’
After a months-long diss track battle with Drake, Kendrick Lamar bounces back with his sixth album, ‘GNX.’
Two years after Kendrick dropped his fifth LP and final Top Dawg Entertainment release, GNX makes the rapper’s first album on his label and multimedia company, pgLang. Beginning in March, Kendrick joined the feud with his “Like That” collaboration with Future and Metro Boomin, responding to Drake’s disses with “Euphoria,” “Meet the Grahams” and Billboard chart-topper “Not Like Us.” The announcement was made in September, roughly two years after Kendrick joined Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige, Eminem, and guests 50 Cent and Anderson .Paak for the Super Bowl LVI halftime performance.
