Kenan Thompson On ‘SNL’ Future: “It Would Be Cool If I Never Left The Show”
Kenan Thompson has starred on Saturday Night Live for 22 seasons, making him the longest-serving cast member in the show's history. He doesn't seem to be leaving anytime soon.
Thompson doesn’t know if he or show creator Lorne Michaels would leave first, adding, “I feel like we’ll both just ride until the wheels fall off.” Before Thompson, Darrell Hammond held the record for being the longest-serving SNL cast member, having been on the show for 14 seasons. Thompson is known for sketches like “What Up With That” and impersonating Steve Harvey in a Celebrity Family Feud parody.
