Ken Jeong to Star in Fox Comedy Project Inspired by Senator Barbara Boxer’s Early Congressional Career

Ken Jeong is set to star in and executive produce a Fox comedy project inspired by Senator Barbara Boxer's early Congressional career.

Jeong is set to play newly elected congressman Jimmy Choi, a local stain-removal tycoon who takes office representing the 10th District of Boston. When those two shows run back-to-back on Wednesdays, Fox dubs the night “Kensday.” Other recent credits include his Netflix standup special “You Complete Me, Ho.” Besides “Community,” he’s also best known for “The Hangover” film series, as well as the features “Crazy Rich Asians” and “Ride Along 2.” As for Chase, he’s a three-time Emmy nominee whose credits besides “Friends” also include serving as co-EP on “Mom.” Lenchewski’s “Royal Pains” ran for eight seasons on USA Network.
