Ken Flores dead: The rising stand-up comedian was 28

Ken Flores, a rising star in stand-up comedy who guested on the 'Netflix is a Daily Joke' podcast, has died after suffering cardiac arrest at home. He was 28.

His most recent stop was at the Atlanta Comedy Club in Norcross, GA on January 25, and his next scheduled appearance was on Jan. 30 at Phoenix, AZ's Desert Ridge Improv. Flores was remembered on the official LatinXL Instagram page in a stirring tribute on Jan. 29 that read in part, "We have so many words on how we feel about him and this loss that just wouldn’t fit here. In the last year, Flores landed marquee spots at L.A. institutions like The Comedy Store and Hollywood Improv, and appeared as a guest on the Netflix is a Daily Joke podcast.
