Kelly Clarkson has 'no regrets' after divorcing Brandon Blackstock and has 'recovered quickly' from their 'difficult' split - despite reigniting their legal war
Kelly Clarkson has 'no regrets' over ending her nearly seven-year marriage to Brandon Blackstock.
The dueling law suits have been flying among Clarkson, her ex-husband and his father's management company, which previously represented the former American Idol winner, after she filed for divorce from Blackstock in June 2020. The Commission determined in its ruling late last year that Blackstock had acted as an unlicensed talent agent for Clarkson when he helped get her a job as a coach on NBC's The Voice, as well as a deals with a Billboard Music Awards and endorsements for Wayfair and Norwegian Cruise Lines. In a response to Rolling Stone, Blackstock's attorney Bryan Freedman claimed, 'It is morally, ethically and legally wrong to attempt to get monies back from your ex-husband who not only helped her as her manager but who used those earnings on their children and Kelly and Brandon’s lifestyle during the marriage.'
