The singer-turned-presenter, 42, knocked back neat rum straight from the bottle during her chat show on Monday - much to the delight of her studio audience.

The Because of You hitmaker, 42, was midway through an interview with country singer Kenny Chesney, 56, when they were presented with two glasses of his key lime flavored Blue Chair Bay rum to sample. The Fort Worth, Texas-born star - who was at the center of speculation about her rapid weight loss for months - said that doctors prescribed her with a medication after a blood test. The popstar, who shares daughter River Rose, nine, and son Remington Alexander, seven, with ex-husband Brandon Blackstock, 47, said that her physician insisted she take the medication after repeated efforts to get her on it.
