Kel Mitchell Reveals the Acting Advice He Gave His Kids After Their Good Burger 2 Cameos (Exclusive)
The 'Kenan and Kel' costars opened up to PEOPLE at the Kids Choice Awards in July 2024. Kel Mitchell is dad to kids Honor, 4, and Wisdom, 6, whom he shares with wife Asia Lee, as well as son Lyric, 24, and daughter Allure, 22, whom he shares with his ex-wife Tyisha Hampton.
The actor, 45, and his Kenan & Kel showcostar Kenan Thompson, 46, reunited at the Kids Choice Awards on Saturday, July 13, where the dad of four spoke to PEOPLE about his kids' acting careers following their appearance in his film, Good Burger 2. "This Dad Is Going to Be a Daddy Again" read Mitchell's shirt as the star began wiping a bathroom mirror along to the song. After some “time” — although “ridiculously too long” — the Saturday Night Live star said they reconnected and learned about one another as adults instead of kids.
