Keke Palmer opens up about how she copes with the 'loneliness' of fame


Keke Palmer is delving into how lonely it can feel at the top in her new December cover story for Self magazine.

Keke rose to fame as a child, appearing in her first movie, Barbershop 2: Back In Business, in 2004, before she snagged the starring role in 2006's Akeelah And The Bee. She acknowledged Editor-in-Chief Rachel Wilkerson Miller, writing, 'I thank you for capturing the mission of my book and my process of self actualizing. Sharing a quote, she went on to say to her 14 million followers, '"We are what we repeatedly do, excellence then, is not an act but a habit.” Aristotle said that, and it to me, has always been a resonating expression of self actualizing.
