Keke Palmer Is 'Almost Speechless' Over Her Historic Emmy Win

Keke Palmer said she was ‘almost speechless’ after taking home a 2024 Creative Awards Emmy for her work on ‘Password’

Saying thank you from the same platform that gave me the freedom to create when the traditional route made me feel there was no place for me,” she wrote via Instagram in September 2021, referring to the fact that Turnt Up With the Taylors originally aired on Facebook Watch. Palmer began singing in the church choir at age 5 and after moving to Los Angeles she quickly found success with acting. Palmer went on to say “a lot of people didn’t see” a career for her after she starred on the Nickelodeon teen sitcom True Jackson, VP, but she persevered and proved her critics wrong.
