Keke Palmer and SZA to Star in Issa Rae-Produced Buddy Comedy
Keke Palmer and SZA will star in a new untitled buddy comedy produced by Issa Rae
In addition to starring in the film, Palmer, 30, will also serve as executive producer through her Big Boss company, while SZA (real name Solána Imani Rowe) will make her first feature-film acting debut. From Amanda Bynes, Emma Roberts and Keke Palmer to Jamie Lynn Spears and Miranda Cosgrove, women had a major presence on Nick from 2000 to the mid-2010s. She has since appeared in numerous productions, including starring in Nickelodeon’s True Jackson VP, Showtime’s Masters of Sex, Scream Queens and Hustlers opposite Jennifer Lopez, Constance Wu and Cardi B.
