Adapted from Gill Hornby’s best-selling novel, BAFTA-winning writer Andrea Gibb has taken the tale of Cassandra notoriously burning Jane’s letters and explores the sisters' challenging relationship. Other cast members include Downton Abbey star Phyllis Logan, Max Irons, Alfred Enoch, Jessica Hynes, The Crown actor Kevin McNally, Mirren Mack and others. The new period drama is directed by Aisling Walsh and produced by Stella Merz, and is a co-production of Bonnie Productions and MASTERPIECE, in association with the BBC and Federation Stories.
