Keegan-Michael Key, Elle Key and their Bigger Picture Media banner have signed with CAA for representation, Deadline can exclusively reveal.
An award-winning director, writer and producer of film, television, and commercials, Elle Key spent her early years working off-Broadway with theater companies such as Malaparte, Naked Angels, and the Atlantic before producing indies like Nanette Burstein’s Sundance prize-winning documentary American Teen, as well as August with Josh Hartnett, Adam Scott, Naomi Harris, and David Bowie. As the co-president and founder of Bigger Picture Media Group, Elle has been writing and directing with, and for, her partner Keegan-Michael Key for almost a decade, including on the original Audible series The History of Sketch Comedy hosted by Keegan-Michael and written by Elle, which won her a Webby Award for Best Writing. and National Geographic’s Brain Games, both hosted by Key, and are currently developing numerous projects across film and television, both narrative and unscripted.
