Keanu Reeves: I'm thinking about death all the time

The Matrix star's new novel, The Book of Elsewhere, explores the theme of mortality.

The Book of Elsewhere, written in collaboration with British science fiction author China Miéville, follows an immortal warrior, who wants to be able to die. Released in 2021, BRZRKR- pronounced "berserker" for the uninitiated - is also due to be adapted into a live-action Netflix film starring Reeves, as well as an anime series. In Flickering Myth, Calum Petrie awarded it seven out of 10 stars, writing that it was "enjoyable" but also "a bit more on the gory side than I am used to in a lot of comics".
