Presenting the award to Reeves at the ceremony, streaming live via ElectricNOW at 4 p.m. PST on February 4, with Joel McHale as host, is Bosch star Titus Welliver. The trio underscored that “from Science Fiction (“The Matrix Trilogy”), Fantasy (“Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure”/”Constantine”) & Horror (Francis Ford Coppola’s “Dracula”/”The Devil’s Advocate”), Keanu has done it all — not to mention “Speed” and “Point Break.” Keanu is not just a Hollywood icon but also a shining example of humility and gratitude.” They noted, in closing, that “throughout his incredible career, he has never forgotten the support of his fans and the filmmakers who’ve supported him all these years,”sharing that they’re “thrilled to celebrate Lance’s memory with a dear friend and a genre icon.” Known for his role as Continental Hotel concierge Charon in all four John Wick films, as well as the forthcoming Ana de Armas-led spinoff Ballerina, Reddick had been doing press for the action franchise’s fourth and final chapter around the time when the news of his passing emerged.
