AFL WAGs Rebecca Judd and Nadia Bartel have been unveiled as the unexpected link behind Katy Perry's stunning appearance at the AFL Grand Final on Saturday.
She then caused further surprise with her setlist by not singing Hot n Cold, despite it famously being the theme tune to MasterChef Australia and jokingly regarded by many as Aussie's true 'national anthem'. She performed her hits Teenage Dreams, Dark Horse, Firework and California Gurls and sang I Kissed A Girl with Tina Arena, but notably missed out Hot n Cold, even though it was widely expected to feature. Her long-awaited seventh studio album 143, which references the expression 'I love you', didn't get off to a good start with music critics as it received lukewarm reviews.
