As a guest on the Wednesday, Sept. 4 episode of Call Her Daddy, the musician, 39, opened up about her experience growing up following her parents' "very strict version of Christianity," and how that has impacted her perspective as a mother to daughter Daisy Dove, 4, whom she shares with her fiancé Orlando Bloom. When explaining how Perry's previous lack of wealth is what motivated her to make it big, the singer says, "Some of my alpha-ing, which is now a lot more imbalance, is maybe a reaction to all of that." Ahead of posting the throwback clip, Perry marked the anniversary of the album's releaseon her Instagram Stories.
