Katy Perry dazzled in a shimmering dress and had a bit of fun as she playfully stuck out her tongue with KISS legend, Gene Simmons, on set of American Idol on Sunday.

During the special night, the official names for the 2024 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame were also announced, including Mary J. Blige, Cher and Dave Matthews Band. Gene - who is known for being the co-lead singer and bassist for rock band KISS - was dressed to impress in a classic black suit as well as a white shirt that was partially unfastened around the collar. The names that were revealed for the Performers Category include: Mary J. Blige, Cher, Dave Matthews Band, Foreigner, Peter Frampton, Kool & The Gang, Ozzy Osbourne and A Tribe Called Quest.
