Since then, her only releases have been collaborations with the likes of Swedish DJ Alesso and Thomas Rhett. Perry and fellow judges Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie joined American Idol in 2018 when ABC revived the singing competition after fifteen seasons on Fox.
