Katie Thurston is opening up about the different avenues she and husband Jeff Arcuri have discussed to expand their family after her stage 4 breast cancer battle is treated. Thurston, 34, shared a screenshot of a social media exchange via her Instagram Stories on Wednesday, April 2, in which she was asked how she “can afford surrogacy.” (The former Bachelorette previously said in a post last month that a gestational carrier may be her best option to have a baby after undergoing chemotherapy.) “We were wanting to plan a wedding and there’s a lot of emotions that come in with chemo and the impact and the health and we don’t know what the next year looks like,” Thurston told Us last month, two days before their nuptials.
